Lebanon FM refuses to attend Arab summit on Iran

TEHRAN - Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil refused to attend an emergency Arab League summit on Sunday which was requested by Saudi Arabia to discuss “confronting” Iran and Hezbollah, a Lebanese Foreign Ministry source told the French news agency.
“This morning, a decision was taken that Lebanon would be presented by Antoine Azzam, the permanent representative to the Arab League,” the source said. The source added, “Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil will not be present.”
